Dr Javaid But is a specialist in the fields of Additive Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. He is working as an Associate Professor of Digital Manufacturing in the Faculty of Science & Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University. Dr Butt has won over £5.8 million in the past 5 years from different funding sources (including Innovate UK, Erasmus+, Interreg North Sea Region, KTP, KEEP+). Majority of his work is with industrial collaborators where he has successfully delivered projects of commercial value. His research leadership helped him in winning the Faculty of Science & Engineering Dean’s Award in the ‘Research and Partnerships’ category for impactful research activities with industrial and academic collaborators (2022) as well as the Vice Chancellor’s Award in the Outstanding Research and Innovation Established Researcher category for exceptional contribution to Anglia Ruskin University’s ambitions in November 2021
